NV Performance Makes History at Race SA, Killarney

The NV Performance team recently travelled to Cape Town for a landmark weekend of motorsport at Race SA, hosted at the legendary Killarney International Raceway.

Bringing together some of South Africa’s fastest cars, leading performance brands and most passionate motorsport enthusiasts, the event delivered an unforgettable showcase of speed, precision and world-class engineering.

A World-Class Motorsport Experience

From the moment the gates opened, the atmosphere at Killarney was electric. The sound of high-performance machines echoed across the circuit as competitors prepared to test their builds against some of the most formidable cars in the country.

NV Performance proudly represented South Africa’s BMW performance community, demonstrating the preparation, technical expertise and relentless commitment required to compete at the highest level.

Beyond the racing, the weekend provided an opportunity to connect with clients, supporters and fellow petrolheads who share our passion for performance and innovation.

Events such as Race SA continue to elevate South Africa’s motorsport culture, and NV Performance is proud to contribute to a community that constantly challenges what is possible.

A Record-Breaking Performance

Leading the charge was Neval Kanjee in his formidable S58-powered BMW, appropriately named “Bully”.

Supported by the combined expertise of NV Performance, The 357, Strada Performance and 5150 Autosport, Neval delivered an exceptional performance under intense competition. By the end of the event, he had retained his title as the driver of the fastest BMW in South Africa—an extraordinary achievement for everyone involved in the project.

Fastest Car of the Day

The success did not end there. Neval also secured the prestigious Fastest Car of the Day title, further cementing the team’s position at the forefront of South Africa’s performance scene.

Competing against some of the most powerful builds in the country, “Bully” showcased far more than outright speed. Its performance reflected the reliability, precision and technical execution that go into producing a truly competitive race car.
